Marina's blogging again :o
I swear I go through these spurts where I all but ignore this electronic world of blogs. However, if the truth be told, I do prefer writing in my physical journal. I can say anything I want there. Even draw things ^_^. And in the end, I have a pretty row of journals on my bookshelf. I've started my fourth now. Well, I started it a couple weeks ago, but I've kinda forgotten it for the past week or so :( There just isn't much I've wanted to write about.
So funny story. I skipped class on Monday. And in my Anthro class, my teacher comes and SEES me. And usually profs just ignore their students (it helps that they generally don't know your name XD). Or they don't care if you skip (you are paying for it after all). However, she comes up to me and asks why I wasn't in class o.O. I think I swallowed my tongue. I was honestly so surprised to see her talk to me. She has this rule where you're not to speak to her in the hall. You can smile and nod and ask to see her in her office, but asking questions is taboo. However, she can speak to you. (I just love authority XD). Anyway, she asked why I wasn't in class. And I think I mumbled something about being late. My brain was running in a million directions at once and I didn't really know what to say. I was so afraid she'd expel me or something. Haha. (I also have this great fear of authority XD). She told me to always come to class--no matter how late I am (which makes no sense since each class is 50 min long). And went off on her way. Laura said she was like Satan since she kept appearing out of no where XD. She's this little old lady with mussed up grey hair that almost goes down to her shoulders. And her voice wobbles and shakes. Probably due to smoking for many years. Anyway, it's considered general knowledge that she's pretty crazy, sometimes insane. However, she's really smart. They do say that there is that balance between ingeniousness and insanity. Who knows if she's crossed it? Anyway, I know that I shall never every skip another class of hers--even if I need to. I guess it's a good thing that I make a point of attending all my classes (on a general basis).
Oh yeah, and last night I had a dream where I was reading someone's Xanga. And there was a link to a second Xanga of the same person and it had a list of usernames from the boards. Or at least their Xanga names. Missina's was on the top. Dunkin's was in the middle. And apparently Jeff had one-his was last, and of course it had to do with toes XD. Anyway, I had to put my laptop on the floor (since i was studying on my bed) because some guy from church came into my room. He gave me some scripts for a play that our drama group was thinking of putting on. Something to do with Jay's "The Hunger"/"The Blessed" Anyway, said person was going on and on about this theater sort of room he has in his house (and he really does have one..). Anyway, it was really awkward having him in my room. And then this older gentleman came into my room with my clarinet. He was fixing it for me, and I needed to get a reed so that he could continue working on it. But I didn't know when I'd next get to town. And I asked if he'd replaced the cork that had fallen off. He said that he couldn't because he needed the reed. Then my alarm went off and woke me up...
